Luxembourgish Extreme Progressive Metal band Mindpatrol was founded in 2012 with the goal of creating something unique and new. Without limiting themselves to a particular style, the musicians decided to write only concept albums and adapt their songs to the mood of the story, including elements from such different styles as Power Metal, Black Metal or good old Doom.
This led to the creation of three ambitious concept albums, two of which were released along with a German novel. Mindpatrol's latest piece of work, "Vulture City" was mixed and mastered by Sebastian Levermann (Orden Ogan) and released in December 2017.
2018 was marked by the end of a chapter when Mindpatrol saw four old faces leave and three new ones join. A phase of rebuilding the band followed, just as the achievement of a life-long dream did: In order to end this chapter on a high note, Mindpatrol as avid gamers produced the song "For The Living" for the video game "London 2038", a fan based project based on "Hellgate: London" (Flagship Studios/Electronic Arts). With their new line-up, Mindpatrol are eager to add more live shows as well as their fourth album to their story.
